Meeting Points


The club uses several meeting points where we congregate before travelling to the start of a walk. Magnify the map and click on a pin and get directions from where you are to the meeting point.

red-pinOrchard Street Car Park

This is the usual meeting point for walks on Sunday, except during the Christmas shopping period when alternative points may be used. This is located in on the corner of Wheat Street,, Nuneaton, opposite the entrance to the Justice Centre. There is currently a fixed flat rate fee for parking all day on Sundays. The car park is protected by CCTV.

dark blue pinBoys' Club Car Park

This is the main meeting point for Wednesday walks and quite a few Saturdays. It is situated at the rear of Nuneaton Boys' Club, opposite the Pingles.

green pinHoreston Grange Shops

This is used for quite a few Saturday walks. The car park is free and is adjacent to Horeston Grange Shops on Camborne Drive, off Eastboro Way and it is normal to park on adjacent roads.

light blue pinWeddington Church Car Park

This is used at times for Saturday walks as it is out of the town centre. Church Lane is off Weddington Road (A444), about 1 mile north of the town centre. The Church Car Park at the left end of Church Lane.

yellow pinHartshill Green

Occasionally used for Saturday and Summer evening walks. Located in the village of Hartshill, 3 miles north-west of Nuneaton. Care must be taken when parking to avoid residents parking areas. Hartshill Green is also served by a regular bus service from both Nuneaton and Atherstone, every twenty minutes on weekdays and Saturdays during the daytime. Evenings and Sunday service is infrequent and very limited.
